Karen Gayle-Penna, Ed.S., NCSP
Karen is state certified and licensed, as well as a nationally certified school psychologist working in Florida public schools along with her private practice. She has over 20 years of experience working with children and adolescents (from preschool to college) with various disabilities. Karen has a passion for working with children and young adults with learning and/or behavioral concerns that impact academic achievement and overall social and/or emotional well-being. She is skilled in assessment and data analysis, providing comprehensive evaluations to identify a person’s strengths and weaknesses, along with targeted interventions. Karen specializes in evaluating and identifying Autism Spectrum Disorders, Developmental Disabilities, Emotional/ Behavioral Disorders, ADHD, Executive Functioning, Gifted, Intellectual Disabilities, and Specific Learning Disabilities (including Dyslexia). Karen strives to understand the needs of her clients, and she can help guide the families through the educational process. In addition to her private practice, Karen has served as a leader in the public school setting. She has provided consultation, mentorship, and supervision to colleagues. She has served on district leadership teams and crisis teams. Karen earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, as well as an Educational Specialist Degree in School Psychology from the University of Central Florida. She is an active member of, both the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) and the Florida Association of School Psychologists (FASP). In her personal life, Karen enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, in addition to reading and traveling.
Rebecca T. Dargis, Ed.S., NCSP

She has a passion for providing comprehensive evaluations that identify strengths and weaknesses, in addition to tools to help individuals reach their full potential. Rebecca is skilled at examining the factors that impact school achievement and overall social and/or emotional well-being. Rebecca specializes in evaluating and identifying Autism Spectrum Disorders, Developmental Disabilities, Emotional/ Behavioral Disorders, ADHD, Executive Functioning, Gifted, Intellectual Disabilities, and Specific Learning Disabilities (including Dyslexia). She seeks to understand your child's learning needs, along with guiding you through the educational process. Additionally, Rebecca has served as a leader in the public-school setting providing consultation, mentorship, and supervision, and serving on district leadership teams and crisis teams. Angelo Penna, B.S.
Angelo Penna, has a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Clinical Psychology. He has training in administration and scoring of psychological and academic test batteries. Angelo is skilled in quantitative measurement, statistics, and data analysis. Angelo has previously worked as an undergraduate and graduate research assistant at the University of Central Florida. He previously held a position as a direct care professional at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health, in addition to working as a tutor in Orange County Public Schools with students in the Emotional/Behavioral Disorder unit. Angelo completed his practicum internship at Palm Point Behavioral Health. He completed his internship at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health. He has experience conducting individual and group psychotherapy with children and adolescents with various diagnoses, such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), disruptive mood dysregulation disorder (DMDD), and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Angelo earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida. He is currently working on his Doctor of Psychology Degree (Psy.D.) at the Florida Institute of Technology. In his free time, Angelo enjoys spending time with his friends and family.
